PLASTISOL
Plastisol printing is the traditional style of screen printing. This ink creates a design that sits on top of the fabric for a traditional look and feel. These inks can be used on any garment or fabric and work best in small print areas.
WATER-BASE
Water-based printing features inks that are soft, breathable and able to soak into the fabric of the garment, rather than sitting on top. When water based printing is done correctly, they result in crisp, bright prints that you can't feel to the touch!
DISCHARGE
Discharge printing is the process of using water-based inks to bleach the manufacturer's dye out of a shirt. This allows you to choose whatever dye color you want to use.
FOIL
Foil T-shirt printing is a great option to really make your prints stand out. The process involves sheets of foil that are heat pressed on top of plastisol inks that are a similar color.
PUFF
Puff ink is not actually an ink - it's an additive, stirred into plastisol ink before printing. When it reaches around 320 degrees fahrenheit, the flat print 'puffs', creating a 3D embossed texture that rises above the rest of the fabric.
TRANSFER
Heat transferring is the process of applying an ink-based design (usually one printed on a sheet of special transfer paper) to the product to be decorated (usually a T-shirt) with a heat press machine.
